Corrections
Found a factual error? Cite the article, paragraph, and your source. We publish corrections transparently.
What happens after you write to us
Every inbound message is read within 48 business hours by an assigned editor. If we need more, we reply with three or four targeted questions. We do not guarantee publication, but we do guarantee a human response and a clear next step.
Sensitive material can be sent through our encrypted channel or Signal. Anonymous tips are honored on a case-by-case basis; we will never publish a name without documented consent.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept op-eds and essays?
Yes, between 800 and 1,400 words. We commission roughly one outside essay per week. Lead with your argument, not your bio, and disclose any conflicts in the first paragraph.
Can I pitch a story I have already published?
We rarely re-run exclusives, but we may pick up a follow-up angle or a deeper data cut. Mention the original outlet and what is genuinely new for our readers.
Will my tip remain confidential?
We default to confidentiality. Share only what we need to verify, and tell us up front if there are legal, safety, or employment risks. We work with lawyers when the stakes demand it.
How do I report a correction?
Email [email protected] with the article URL, the exact claim, and a link or citation that contradicts it. Verified corrections are appended with a dated note.
